Description
At the end of your day why sit looking down at your bike from a 3rd floor motel room? You can be staying at tipi camp, enjoying a roaring campfire and hanging out with other bikers sharing stories with friends new and old. Like a vacation rental, your room is a tipi complete with raised air bed, pillows, blankets and towels and sits on a wooden deck. We have a communal gas grill and picnic table and, of course, hot and cold running water in the bathhouse (a 1966 converted Airstream Trailer named Lucille) A cooler and ice and morning coffee would top this all off but you can't forget the fantastic rides you can take up here in the mountains. Come on, get out there and have some fun!!!

We went last fall and it was really fun sitting by a big fire at night and just watching the stars. Sleeping in a tipi was a really neat experience and we didn't have to lug all our gear - it's all there. Great rides abound very nearby. Great local restaurants, too. Can't wait to go back again in May!

Sandy and I just returned home to Florida after spending a week at tipi camp. All we can talk about is how relaxing and rejuvinating being at the camp was. The bathroom/airstream trailer was unbelievable! Everything was clean and user friendly besides being beautiful. The trips into the mountains was an experience not to be missed. For one who is not a camper I would go back in a heartbeat. The memory of starry nights by the campfire will stay with me forever. Thanks Jay and Lani for the best getaway we have had in a long time. For a place to stay I decided that I would go to Tipi Camp in Asheville, partially because they cater specifically to motorcycles, and partially because they converted an Airstream trailer to a bathhouse! I arrived and was greeted with a very warm reception by Jay and Lani, the owners. These two have a wonderful little spot to pitch a tent or stay in one of their tipis. It's just far enough out of town to be peaceful and not so far as to be inconvenient. Jay has even offered to take me out on some of the great roads nearby! What a great find. Thanks, Lani and Jay! Had a great time at TeePee camp. Accommodations are great!!! I highly recommend staying here when traveling through Asheville, NC. Lorri
